Depa PLC ("Depa"), the leading global interior solutions group, announces the appointment, with immediate effect, of Mr. Edward Quinlan as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
Mr. Quinlan joined the Kuwait office of a Big 4 accountancy firm as a qualified chartered accountant in 1973 and spent his entire career with that firm in the Middle East until his retirement in 2010. Following his retirement, Mr. Quinlan has been involved in a non-executive capacity with a number of leading organizations in Dubai, including his appointment as Chairman of Depa's Audit & Compliance Committee since 2013.
Mr. Quinlan has been involved with a number of civic and not for profit organisations and has served on the Board of Governors of Al Manzil School, the Rotary Club of Dubai, Dubai College, Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre, Dubai Classical Concert Committee and the Capital Club. He is currently the Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of England and Wales Middle East Members' Advisory Board and on the boards of three not-for-profit schools; Deira International School, Universal American School and Dubai College, where he is Chairman. He also served for a number of years as Chairman of the Audit Committee of the International Cricket Council.
