Mr. Faisal Alareefi

Non – Executive Director

Mr. Faisal Alareefi was appointed to the Audit & Compliance Committee on 18 March 2026. He also serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Depa PLC Board. Mr. Alareefi currently holds the position of Chief Governance, Risk and Compliance Officer at Diriyah Company. He also serves as a member of the Audit and Risk Committees of GDC Middle East and Rua Al-Haram Company. He has held several senior governance and advisory roles, including Acting Chief Governance, Risk and Compliance Officer at Diriyah Company (2023–2025), Senior Director of Institutional Governance at the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (2022–2023), and Assistant Vice President of Portfolio Companies Governance at the Public Investment Fund (2019–2022). Earlier in his career, he held roles at the Ministry of Finance, Saudi Arabia (2018–2019) and at EY (2015–2018). Mr. Alareefi holds a Master of Finance from George Washington University, USA, and a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Tampa, USA. He has also completed the IMD C-Suite Program.
