Mr. Faisal Al Areefi

Non – Executive Director

Mr. Faisal Al Areefi was appointed as a Non-Executive Director on the Depa Board on 23 March 2022. He was reappointed to the Depa Board on 26 June 2025 for a three-year term. Previously, Mr. Al Areefi served as  Assistant  Vice  President  of  the  Portfolio  Companies  Affairs  Department  in  PIF  (2019  -  2022).  His previous positions include (among others) a member of the budget and performance team and a member of the permanent working team at the Ministry of Finance, Saudi Arabia (2019), acting as senior financial advisor at the Ministry of Finance, Saudi Arabia (2018  - 2019), and assistant manager in the transaction advisory  services  department  at  EY  (2015  -  2018).  He  holds  a  Master  of  Finance  degree  from  George Washington University.
