A seasoned legal professional with extensive expertise in corporate governance, regulatory affairs, and strategic advisory, David Holiday brings over two decades of experience in the legal industry, with a strong focus on the contracting environment. David began his career in private practice in 2004, specialising in M&A, private equity, joint ventures, and corporate advisory. He then moved into senior in-house roles with leading regional groups, holding senior positions including Head of Corporate, M&A (Legal).

Prior to his appointment as Group Chief Legal Officer at Depa in 2015, he served since 2013 as the Group’s Company Secretary. David has played a pivotal role in high-profile acquisitions, disposals, and restructurings, building a strong reputation for navigating complex legal and commercial landscapes. He leads a team of lawyers and paralegals and oversees corporate transactions, legal advisory, governance, and compliance matters across the Group.

David holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sheffield and has been an SRA-regulated solicitor (England & Wales) since 2006
