Group Chief Legal Officer & Company Secretary

Mr. David Holiday was appointed as Group Chief Legal Officer for Depa on 1 June 2015, after serving as Company Secretary since May 2013. He leads a team of lawyers and paralegals and as Group Chief Legal Officer acts as the interface between the Board and the Business as well as the Company and its regulator (the DFSA). Previously, Mr. Holiday joined Arabtec in 2013 at a period of rapid expansion. He was quickly promoted to Head of Corporate, M&A (Legal) – responsible for the group corporate, M&A, corporate governance and compliance matters. Mr. Holiday, qualified as a solicitor (England & Wales), began practicing in the UAE in 2007. While in private practice, his experience centered mainly on M&A private equity work, corporate joint ventures and commercial advisory matters. Mr. Holiday has played a significant role in a number of high profile acquisitions, disposals and restructurings and has gained significant exposure to the contracting industry.
