Complementing our joinery production, DEPA regularly produces FF&E in-house as part of our extensive Fit Out services, or even as a stand-alone order. With the experience and understanding that every project strives to create its own identity, we are more than familiar with the requirement to customise and develop ideas from conception to creation. Our facilities can accommodate the most complex of items with the majority of finishes being applied all under one roof. In addition, this allows the project team to review the production and view the FF&E at varying stages as required. Custom items are naturally designed and developed to be fit for purpose and match their intended application, taking on board brand standards, project specifications and local authority requirements.
DEPA has an extensive database of not only pre-qualified local, but global manufacturers & suppliers of FF&E. These sources are trusted contacts with whom we have long-standing relationships with. By retaining the FF&E scope of works within the Fit Out Contract, we are able to offer a fully integrated solution for the client whether this includes specified items, alternatives or a combination of the two. DEPA has successfully delivered many projects in the region where FF&E has been manufactured and procured directly by our specialist FF&E Procurement team.
Our team has vast experience in FF&E sourcing and manufacturing, all of which contributes to the high quality and efficient service we strive to offer. In addition to keeping up to date with market trends and attending related shows and exhibitions throughout the year, DEPA has an advanced digital library of past works. FF&E Shop Drawings, Material Submittals and Photographs of finished products are all stored for reference and often prove beneficial in workshops with the Client / Consultant / Design teams when discussing customisation and intricate details of the FF&E. Where value engineering is required, we aim to ensure that any proposed alternatives retain the style & standards originally intended, working closely with the client/designer to ensure they have confidence in the proposed substitutions.
Workshops are always recommended and offered to our projects. Meetings in our Studio space allow the team to work through the FF&E requirements in detail, reviewing finish samples as well as discussing the techniques required to achieve each particular item. Having this space in-house, allows us to offer large group visits and inspections as required, in the comfort of our Studio and Showroom area. Our factory also has the capacity to provide Mock-Up rooms, which can be retained for the project duration allowing early design, engineering and procurement to take place.
